How to install OpenGlyph in Linux

Download outlink the installer. If you launch the installer by double-clicking on it, you can only install OpenGlyph in your home-directory. So start the application as root-user (we've tested it with the 1.1 bèta-release):

sudo java -jar openglyph-install-1.1Beta.jar

The installation process is quite the same as that of JSesh, and after installing OpenGlyph, you can launch the program with the following command:

java -jar /usr/local/OpenGlyph/libs/openglyph.jar

Tested (version 1.1 bèta) in:

  • Ubuntu (6.10)
